The Spanish and Mexican Culture Program in Los Angeles and Jalisco

Aware that language is one of the most powerful features in shaping identity, the UDG Foundation USA, in conjunction with the College of Spanish and Mexican Culture of the University of Guadalajara and several university campuses that make up the University Network, designed a program to encourage the use of Spanish and expand linguistic and cognitive skills to members of the Mexican communities of Los Angeles and Chicago.

The program is structured so that attendees in accordance with their linguistic advances get to know the history, traditions and culture of Mexico and develop a sense of pride in being Mexican, through courses, diplomas, seminars, concerts, plays and exhibitions.
